Last updated: March 3, 2020
Capitalized terms used in this Cookie Notice but not defined here will have the meanings given to them in Loudmouth’s Privacy Notice.
Loudmouth uses cookies and similar technologies on its Sites. This Cookie Notice (“Cookie Notice”) explains how we use cookies and your related choices.
If you do not accept the use of these cookies, please disable them following the instructions in this Cookie Notice, for instance by changing your browser settings so that cookies on the Sites cannot be placed on your computer or mobile device.
For a list of the cookies we use, please visit our Cookie List.
If you have any questions about this Cookie Notice, you may contact us at privacy@loudmouthgolf.com.
What Are Cookies, Pixels and Local Storage?
Cookies are small files that websites place on your computer as you browse the web. Like many commercial websites, Loudmouth uses cookies. Cookies help with lots of different things, like letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improving the user experience. In other words, cookies assist us in making your use of the Sites and its features more relevant and useful to you. Cookies and similar technologies are also used to measure the number of visitors and/or the effectiveness of Sites, as well as to better tailor our advertising/marketing campaigns.
Pixel tags (also known as web beacons or pixels) are small blocks of code on a web page or in an email notification. Pixels allow companies to collect information such as an individual’s IP address, when the individual viewed the pixel and the type of browser used. We use pixel tags to understand whether you’ve interacted with content on our Sites, which helps us measure and improve our Sites, and personalize your experience.
Local storage allows a website to store information locally on your computer or mobile device. Local storage is mainly used to store and retrieve data in HTML pages from the same domain. We use local storage to customize what we show you based on your past interactions with our Sites.
It is important to understand that cookies (and the technologies listed above) may collect personal information, but in some instances only collect non-identifiable information.
Note that when we refer to cookies below, this also includes pixel tags and other technologies described above.
How and Why do We Use Cookies?
We use both 1st party cookies (which are set by Loudmouth) and 3rd party cookies (which are set by a server located outside the domain of our Sites). Some of the cookies that we use are “strictly necessary” in that they are essential to the Sites. Without them, the Sites will not work. Other cookies, while not essential, help us improve our Sites, measure audiences and advertise our products. This is described in more detail below.
Strictly Necessary CookiesThese cookies are necessary for the Sites to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. For example, we use cookies to authenticate you. When you log on to our Sites, authentication cookies are set which let us know who you are during a browsing session. We have to load essential cookies for legitimate interests pursued by us in delivering our Sites’ essential functionality to you.
Functionality CookiesThese cookies are used to enable certain additional functionality on our Sites, such as storing your preferences (e.g. username) and assisting us in providing support or payment services to you so we know your browser or operating system. This functionality improves user experience and enables us to provide better service and more efficient Sites.
Performance CookiesThese cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our Sites. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors navigate the Sites. Performance cookies are used to help us with our analytics, including to compile statistics and analytics about your use of and interaction with the Sites, including details about how and where our Sites are accessed, how often you visit or use the Sites, the date and time of your visits, your actions on the Sites, and other similar traffic, usage, and trend data. This helps us understand our customer base. They also help us gather important functionality, testing, and performance data about our Sites, including performance data related to the Sites, such as networking activity, CPU load, and resource usage, among other relevant data.
Targeting Cookies/AdvertisingThese cookies may be set on our Sites by our External Partners for advertising purposes. As explained here in our Privacy Notice, they may be used by those companies to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertisements on other sites. What this means is that when you visit our Sites, External Partners who have been authorized by us to drop cookie (or similar tracking technologies), will capture and collect information about you – namely Device and Usage Data, so that it can track your activity on and off the Sites (unless you are a user in the EEA or the U.K. and have not opted in, or have blocked cookies through your browser settings). This information may be combined with other information from other sources, and used to deliver targeted advertising.
Social Media CookiesSocial media cookies collect information about social media usage. These cookies are used when you share information using a social media sharing button or “like” button on our sites or you link your account or engage with our content on or through a social networking site such as Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.

Lastly, we and our External Ad Partners endeavor in good faith to adhere to self-regulatory advertising principles, such as the DAA or NAI. For individuals in the EEA or the U.K., and residents of California, please visit our Privacy Notice for more information on additional choices.
Note that opting-out does not mean that you will no longer see ads, they just will not be retargeted. For instance, if you see Loudmouth’s advertisements on websites and in social media, these may not be directed specifically at you, we might just have bid for the space.
Changes to this Cookie Notice
We encourage you to review this Cookie Notice regularly for any changes. Loudmouth may update this Cookie Notice from time to time, at its sole discretion. If we make material changes, we will post an updated Cookie Notice within the Sites. Changes, modifications, additions, or deletions will be effective immediately on their posting to the Sites. If you continue to use the Sites you will be deemed to have accepted the change.
